Media cIty Manchester
Project Info
Media City is home to the BBC and ITV and is a mixed use development on over 200 acres.
Located at Salford Quays on Manchester’s historic ship canal, it has transformed Salford’s landscape and skyline. The buildings will be surrounded by new open spaces, including a central courtyard, private gardens and an open ‘square’ linking the development to the tram stop.
In October 2020, construction began on site of what will be a new 280-apartment scheme, with completion expected in 2022. Developed by Glenbrook and designed by architects Sheppard Robson, the 231,000 sq ft has two blocks of 14 story and 17 storey heights.
It will provide 132 one-bedroom, 136 two-bedroom and 12 three-bedroom apartments and will include a gym and retail spaces. These new homes are exceptionally located in the very heart of the action at MediaCityUK, an iconic setting that offers unbeatable work and leisure opportunities for its residents.
